용어의 정리: MEAP/MADP/Cross Platform?

MEAP(Mobile Enterprise Application Platform)은 가트너(Gartner)에서 최초로 용어를 정의하였습니다.

용어에서 알수 있듯이 기업내부(B2E)용 모바일 애플리케이션에 집중하는 개발플랫폼으로 시작하였습니다.

이후 기업이 소비자용 애플리케이션에 적용하려는 Needs가 증가하면서 MADP(Mobile Application Development Platform)으로

용어가 변경되어 사용되고 있습니다.

Cross Platform은 MADP와 유사한 개념으로 유럽쪽에서 많이 사용되는 용어입니다.

MEAP

https://www.adenin.com/blog/2015/12/14/madp-what-is-it-and-how-is-it-different-from-meap

MADP approach “removes much of the burden [of developing mobile apps] by providing

everything that is needed quickly and cheaply”. With a focus on re-usable code snippets

and drag-and-drop app designers, as opposed to full-on code editors.

With their secure access to enterprise data through configurable connections,

developers can customize apps without having to worry about manually implementing their backends.

Companies prefer the control and security that comes with HTML5,

which in many business cases is just as fast or even faster than native apps.

http://internetofthingsagenda.techtarget.com/definition/MQTT-MQ-Telemetry-Transport

MQTT (Message Queuing Telemetry Transport) is a lightweight messaging protocol

that provides resource-constrained network clients with a simple way to distribute telemetry information.

TEM

http://ovationwireless.com/emm-mms-mdm/

TEM was a simpler acronym and soon became the default standard for describing services

that help reduce and control telecommunication costs.

MCM

http://www.tomsitpro.com/articles/evaluating-mobile-management-solutions,2-708-2.html

Mobile Content Management (MCM) focuses on secure document management through authentication,

authorization, and access. Users gain access to content based on usernames, passwords, IP address,

and mobile device authentication.

MCM solutions typically use multi-factor authentication methods to grant and manage access

to repositories and documents.

EMM, UEM에 대한 전체 설명

http://searchmobilecomputing.techtarget.com/definition/enterprise-mobility-management-EMM

Enterprise mobility management (EMM) is software that allows organizations to securely enable employee use of  mobile devices and applications.

EMM MIM, UEM

https://www.42gears.com/blog/difference-between-mdm-emm-uem/

UEM > EMM > MDM

COSU

https://developers.google.com/android/work/requirements/cosu

The COSU (Corporate-Owned, Single-Use) solution set is designed for corporate-owned devices that fulfill a single use case,

such as digital signage, ticket printing, or inventory management

MIM

http://www.brianmadden.com/opinion/What-is-MDM-MAM-and-MIM-And-whats-the-difference

MIM is "mobile information management" which could roughly be described as all those "Dropbox-like"

cloud-based services that sync files and documents across different devices.
